It was the early 1920's in Greenville, Texas when one hundred local men gathered together and formed a plan. They each had something in common with one another...They loved to fish. But, there was no lake to fish in. That's when they each contributed one hundred dollars and with the $10k they had their "poor-man's fishing lake." The Club Lake was formed.
